Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VERDiiiCT ("the Service"), operated by VERDiiiCT ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and organization members.

2. Description of Service

VERDiiiCT is an AI-powered code review platform that integrates with source control providers (GitHub, Azure DevOps) to automatically review pull requests. The Service analyzes code changes using AI models and provides feedback including verdicts, line-level comments, and analytics.

The Service is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or modify the feature set with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Register for an account with a valid email address
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 16 years of age

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to process or review code that you do not have the right to access
  • Abuse the platform by submitting excessively large or malicious payloads designed to exploit the AI review pipeline
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond its intended use

5. Intellectual Property

Your code: You retain full ownership of all code and content you submit to the Service for review. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your code. Code diffs are processed for the sole purpose of generating review feedback and are not stored permanently.

Our service: The VERDiiiCT platform, including its design, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by VERDiiiCT and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

Review output: The AI-generated review comments, verdicts, and analytics provided by the Service are licensed to you for your internal use. You may use this output freely within your organization.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (GitHub, Azure DevOps) and AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective terms and policies of those providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability.

As a free service, we do not offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA). We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VERDiiiCT and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from code defects not caught by the AI review
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
  • Service interruptions or outages

The AI-generated reviews are provided as suggestions and should not be relied upon as the sole quality assurance measure. You are responsible for the final decision to merge or deploy code.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • The AI reviews will catch all bugs, vulnerabilities, or code quality issues
  • The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The results of the Service will be accurate or reliable in all cases

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention), but your code and review data will be deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
